Modeo Turku designed customer procect with customized Soften Split-acoustic curtains. Customer had an idea of the dot-patterned curtains. We made a sketch of the curtain and sent it to be accepted by the client. Then we carried out the curtains accordingly!

Soften Split-acoustic curtains can be ordered with elegant metallic fasteners and wires customized with needed length.

It is easy to connect or divide a big open space in an airy and light mannor. Imagination is the only limit with the pattern of the curtain!

Lunch bistro in Säterinportti (Leppävaara) had some irritating noise problems. Harri Markkula from Tilassa Oy designed ceiling suspended acoustic elements to soften the space. The shape of the elements are similar to the patterns in the walls and have the same colors.

The elements form altogether a big acoustic surface that damp effectively the noise in the space.  

Soften as supplier in research project of Loimaa City and Turku University (How acoustics effect on learning in the school).

City of Loimaa and Turku University launched a research project in 2019, where traditional class room in Keskuskoulu School in Loimaa City was transformed to support the new learning method and modern digitalized learning space. This new demo class room is being studied and measured by Turku University. Based on the results a new sample class room will be created to be spread nationally throughout the country.
Soften was chosen to supply the acoustic wall panels to the class room. Panels are tested to achieve the best absorption class A. Big areas of panels were installed to 3 separate walls of the class, and they can be used as information bord also. Cozy colors were chosen by teachers Anna-Reetta Aalto and Janne Rautiainen following the color world in the class room.  


The class room is also equipped with Soften Priva-screens that create individual working space when such needed.  Soften Priva can be folded open quickly on top of  workstation, and when they are not needed, they can be folded out and hanged to wall hooks. Then they act as common sound absorbers.
The Priva-screens are very durable and come with multiple colors. 


Anna-Reetta said that the noise level has decreased remarkably in the class room and the working environment is now more peaceful and supports consentration to school work. During the first weeks Anna-Reetta noticed that the pupils had learned to discuss normally instead of yelling to each other. There is no more need to raise voice level Peaceful working environment supports peaceful use of voice. 

Soften delivered customized acoustic products to Moscow Russia summer 2019. The products were part of interior design project in a multinational Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG).

In 2019 our agent in Russia, Mrs. Elena Airas (company Aversia Oy) got a big project in co-operation with Russian architect office to carry out interior design project with customized acoustic products.  
Aversia has a 25 year professional career in selling office furniture in Russia. Mrs. Elena Airas has wide network with leading architect and designer companies throughout Russia.  
 

Soften manufactured curved off-white wall panels and colorful round acoustic panels.

Norra Finans is a professional finance company in Pasila Helsinki. They wanted to improve the sound environment at their office effectively. 

Weekly video-negotiations are held at their conference room for example to abroad. Understandable speach is very important to avoid misunderstandings. A wide media wall with acoustic panels around the TV Screen was built. The acoustic panels have the best absorption class: A, and they avoid the echo problems in the conference room. The panels are made with customized sizes to fit the space perfectly.  

We also manufactured customized acoustic panel with printed logo to the back wall of the conference room.
It will be seen as backround of the video calls behind the big table.  

One wall of conference room is made out of glass. We manufactured customized acoustic curtains to give privacy to the room. The airy construction passes light through to the office space. In this picture you can see the glass wall before and after the curtains. 

At work stations and in coffee room all kinds of acoustic wall panels were installed to soften the sounds. The panels adapt the color world of the company colors.

Designer company from Vaasa, Aveo Oy, designed and carried out complete makeover for ABB Vaasa, Protection and Connection unit, in 2015.

Consult company made a survey for the client about user experience to result the best possible concept of space use at the office. 
140 workstations, versatile negotiation rooms, rest roomsf for personnel, and quiet room were created to the new fresh premises.  

A lot of attention to good acoustics was highlighted and the new office succeeded exceptionally with pleasant sound environment as result. 

With colorful and 3-dimensional Soften Air-acoustic elements open plan office was divided to smaller spaces. The elements are very effective elements to stop and soften sounds. The chosen colors for the elements complement the color world of the furniture and cushions.

Soften Air-elements are totally convertible in later modifications of the space. 

By the Lake of Vanajavesi locates the Swimming Hall of City Hämeenlinna, built in 1976.
Year 2017 complete renovation project was finished. The renovation was designed by architect Petri Ilmarinen. 

Dressing rooms and shower rooms were enlarged, surfaces were renewed, and new big pool was built. 
The wall behind the diving platforms was made out of concrete. The architect wanted to pay attention to acoustics in the swimming hall, and Soften acoustic panels were specified to cover the whole wall behind the diving platforms. Wall panels soften the sound environment effectively and give the space a multidimensional appearance. 

Soften Wall panels are manufactured of 100% polyester felt that is made out of recycled PET-bottles. Panels suit perfectly to spaces where the air humidity variates considerably.
